Christmas in October?

I love Christmas time…that much was probably made evident when I started making a Christmas Sampler Quilt all the way back in July!  There is just something magical about the season.

SassyPacks

When I started my sampler quilt – I post a picture of my completed blocks to a group I belong to on Facebook and Vicki from SassyPacks immediately responded and told me how much she loved it.  We have since become friends and she has been a great supporter of my blog AND she is one of my sponsors!

As a special treat to help someone who wants to make their own special Christmas Sewing/Quilting project – Vicki and Jennifer have oh so generously decided to giveaway a layer cake of O’ Tinsel Tree by Robert Kaufman Fabrics!

This is a contemporary funky line and some of the fabrics can be viewed on the Robert Kaufman site – not all are shown because it is not readily available anymore.

Here’s how to enter (you must be a follower of my blog!)

  1. Head over to the SassyPacks and tell me what your favorite SassyPack kit
  2. Head over to the SassyBlog, follow Vicki & Jennifer – say Hi and tell me that you did so!

For a bonus entry – blog, tweet or facebook about this giveaway – come back here and let me know that you did.

And don’t forget…SassyPacks is also offering free shipping on all US orders over $20 for my followers – use the BitterSweet code upon checking out!  For my international readers – they have something special just for you too! Email them at contact@sassypacks.com!!  These special deals are for the entire month of October!

This giveaway will be open until Midnight October 20, 2011 – I will announce the winner on October 20th (my wedding anniversary!).

Good luck!

  1. Oh my gosh ~ what DON’T I like in thier shop!? They’ve got such a great group of SassyPacks. I really love the Cutie Pie Girl Quilt (and with a Granddaughter coming Feb 2012 I need a baby girl quilt) But then I also love the Baby Gift Set Pink as well.

And because I have a Grandson who was born about 5-6 weeks ago now that I have NOT made a quilt for yet their boy quilts and gift sets for boys caught my eye as well.

  2. I wento to the Sassy Blog and have posted, but not before being sidetracked by that awesome, easy quilt tutorial they’ve just done. Super cute and using only those two blocks too. I LOVE how simple that looks and think even I could do that without too many bad words flying around my sewing room. lol

  3. Hi Melissa,

  4. I like Grandma Mary’s Five Patch! Saw this on FQS and think it would look good in Terrain – or Sassy Packs’ Color Splash – or maybe in a selection of their batiks. Thanks for the giveaway.

  5. They have so many cute kits but I think my favorite (and very appropriate atm) is the Spellbound Halloween Pack. Super cute and looks like it would be great fun. =)

  22. I was going to say my favorite is the Island Sunrise quilt, but then I looked again and I absolutely LOVE the “Urban Cabin Twin” kit! I love it for it’s modern look and simplicity, as well as the fact that it looks like something I could put together quickly. (the other one would take ages!).
