We are home! We really enjoyed our trip, but I have to tell you all that I was a total basket case at times missing Anne so bad! As soon as we got home she ran into my arms and said “I missed you mommy!” Then she proceeded to run to her daddy’s arms and said “I missed you daya!” It was the coolest most wonderful feeling 🙂
Here are a few of the 300+ pictures I took. Now here is a little something you may not know about me…in my former life I was a photographer – with a degree and published and everything… Once upon a time that is. Now I just dabble. I’m thinking any or all of these would be great inspiration for a quilt.
I have 300+ photos to go through, but there were some really wonderful ones that will serve as some fabulous quilty inspiration!
How was your week? Don’t forget to go enter the wonderful giveaway from Colonial Needles.
A quilt made to look like that window from Craigdarroch Castle could be in my future!

Loved hearing about your special moment with Anne!
Thinking of you, Sondra

I knew you guys would have an amazing reunion! I am so glad you enjoyed your trip and the pictures are gorgeous. The window from Craigdarroch Castle would be an absolutely stunning quilt. And I love the pansy and butterfly shots of course. Ugh, they are all so pretty and you just posted 4!
Thanks for sharing the gorgeous photos! Glad you had a wonderful time.
Amazing!
The castle window is spectacular! Now that I know you were a professional photographer, I can understand why your quilt photos always turn out amazing. Glad you had a good time and are now back home with your sweet little girl!
Your pictures are beautiful! Any of your pictures would make gorgeous quilts but having been to Craigdarroch Castle and knowing how amazing it is that would be my first choice.
Pictures are wonderful – you are very talented! I love the pansy colors Purples and yellows. I dabble a little in photography also.

That stained glass window looks like it SHOULD be a quilt.
Go on – tell us where you were published? Your work is amazing! I am having such a hard time photographing my quilts for Etsy, I wish I had your expertise and camera! Glad you had a good time.
