PINCUSHION! I participate in a fun swapping group on Facebook, Sew, Share, Swap, and this is our first swap. We did pincushions. This is what I sent to my swap partner, and friend, CeLynn from CeLynn’s Sunflower Patch, if you don’t already follow her blog, you should!
I followed 2 tutorials that I found on Pinterest. The Cathedral Window Pincushion by Kim at My Go-Go Life. The other pincushion is actually one of my favorites, I like the idea of being able to trap spare pins, but that could just be the mom in me. This is the Pincushion Jar Tutorial by Andy Knowlton for Riley Blake.
Both tutorials were extremely easy to follow. If you are interested in pincushions and looking for tutorials, you are welcome to follow my Pincushion Board over on Pinterest.
Now one of the most fun parts of swaps is getting goodies in the mail and look what came for me!
These amazing goodies were sent to me by my wonderful friend Debbe from Pieces to Love, again if you aren’t following her, you should! She made me two pincushions (we were only required to send 1) and she sent me tons of goodies and a little treat for Anne.
Do you see the tiny pincushion in the thimble! I mean seriously! I am IN LOVE!
Do you participate in swaps? I have really enjoyed them and made so many wonderful friends doing them.
Enjoy my friend. I hope you have a wonderful day.
I’ve just participated in a pincushion swap with Bea. http://densyendehimmel.blogspot.no/2013/02/naleputer.html
