So I just couldn’t help myself and I went ahead and finished all of the blocks yesterday! I think I am going to go ahead with a navy border. I just need to buy more fabric, how sad!
Do you see the little spot of pink hiding on the right hand side? Someone is playing a little hide and seek…
And because Anne loves to take pictures with my camera, her is her picture of my blocks.
So I will be heading to the fabric store today to purchase some Navy to finish this puppy up! So excited!
I love your curved blocks. I keep thinking of getting the curved ruler, but curves have never been my friend, so I am not sure. Anyway, I love what your quilt – it is beautiful. Thanks for sharing it.
Love it!
I’ll be interested in seeing whether navy is all you bring home. =) I thought about stopping for some Aurifil this morning, but I decided I could get by a little longer, because I knew I wouldn’t stop there! If that’s your layout, I think it’s really balanced, and I love the color flow, as well as the balance in shape and heaviness of blocks. Great job. Anne is going to be a good photographer, with a little practice. She’s in focus, and that’s the most important lesson to learn! She always has such a great smile.
Good job! It is always better to keep going when you excited about project 🙂
Great blocks – they will make a stunning quilt! Love the cool, calm feel of those fabulously curved blocks!
So pretty, the blocks and Anne!
This quilt is going to be a stunner
the blocks look amazing, this will be a gorgeous quilt. I’m so inspired to do some curved piecing!
Stunning!
Love the blocks and can’t wait to see your borders!
Wow!! You really rose to the challenge!! These are awesome!
Fabric shopping is always devastating… 😉 Worth it to finish this little beauty off though 🙂
This is a stunner. I think navy is the perfect choice for the border. Anne did a wonderful job photographing the quilt. Maybe she’s found a new way of helping you with your quilts.
