I am happy to say that we have new floors! And they are absolutely stunning! I just hope my hubby likes them as much as Anne, my mom and I do!
Welcome to my sewing room! This is the cleanest it has been in four years! I really only took this picture to show my husband. He asked how it felt for it to be clean and I promptly told him it felt strange and uncomfortable and as soon as the movers arrived I would mess it all up! Not sure he thought that was as funny as I did!
And of course, a shot of my sewing room wouldn’t be complete with out my pretty quilt wall. This room is now jam packed with all of my sewing things and it is even still mostly clean though a bit more crowded.
I decided that new floors deserved a trip up to Ikea to celebrate the occasion and look at what followed me home:
I love them because they perfectly match our dinning room set and Anne loves the novelty of eating at the kitchen counter. I do think that the hubs will like this particular change for sure!

Floors look fabulous! Every day deserves a trip to IKEA. Ours has only been open about 3 years here in town, and I have managed to remodel my kitchen and bathroom with IKEA… I have to keep myself out of that place cause it’s just to dangerous to my credit card! LOL!!!! You know they have the greatest storage for our sewing rooms too!

Hip Hip Hooray for new floors and a sewing room that is functional again. It’s nice to see it all cleaned out, I’m sure, but even nicer to have your toys back in so you can play… err, I mean quilt… ya, that’s what I mean. 😉
Yay, that looks beautiful! Now that it’s finished. =) I love the chairs, too. I’m jealous of the space you have in the kitchen. Mine is about 10 x 10! With a window and two doors in it, too. Aargh!
They are certainly worth the inconvenience you’ve had. Very pretty! Your fabric scraps will look great scattered all around that new floor in your sewing room 🙂
