Slowing getting back

You know when you get back from vacation and it is really really hard to sit down at a computer again? I’m there. I am struggling with the notion of sitting down and doing something productive. I must have really enjoyed my semi-unplugged vacation.

I did get some sewing done yesterday and completed 3 more of my 10 blocks. Only 6 blocks to go, it feels manageable now!

  1. No, I have not. Partially a sewing slump after finishing two projects and partially residual laziness from two longish vacations in June. Unfortunately that equals no sewing done whatsoever besides those projects I had to get done.

  2. You will get them done! You always do! It is nice to be able to ease back into the routine after a vacation. 🙂

  3. I was gone for a week in the Sierras-it was beautiful, but I couldn’t wait to get the motorhome unpacked and get back to “Lizzy”. I was in the middle of the HST border when I left and just wanted to finish her-did last night. I love the simplicity of your blocks-I am seeing one beautiful quilt in your future.

  4. Oh, yes, every day I think about unplugging for good! I like your blocks together. Great, happy colors. I worked quite a bit yesterday on some random donated blocks and I love the smallquilt top that’s coming together from them.
