May – A Lovely Year of Finishes Goal Setting Party
It is May! That means the showers should be over and we should finally get our flowers. In the case of our family it means that it is time to plant our fledgling seedlings and hopefully get some fruits and veggies!
It also means that it is time to start setting goals again. If this is your first time joining us for A Lovely Year of Finishes check out the info page here or over at my partner in crime’s (Shanna) blog. We also have a great FAQ page as well to answer all your questions.
If you are a repeat finisher, pick a finish and get linked up! Here is my finish for the Month of May:
Those of you who have followed my blog for awhile might remember my Swoon quilt made with the gorgeous Half Moon Modern fabrics. Well I have decided that I am going to go for the standard sized swoon instead of a king sized one, I just feel my husband needs something a little more manly on the bed at night (I have his quilt in the works too but that will wait for a different month!). So my goal is to finish the last 2 blocks and assemble the entire top. I am excited to cross this one off the “finish top” list and add it to the “needs to be quilted” list. Make sure you head over to Fiber of All Sorts and check out Shanna’s planned finish for May.
As always, we have some amazing prizes offered by our fantastic sponsors, please make sure you take the time to visit each one and give them a little love. This challenge wouldn’t be near as much fun without them!
Remember, to be eligible for prizes you must link up to the party and the end of month party showing off your finish. We have a mid-month party too but it is not required, more for fun and cheering each other on!
May Prizes Include:
1. Choice of $15 or 2 charm packs from Stitch n’ Giggles
2. Mini Dresden Flowers Pattern and Pieces donated from Paper Pieces
3. $25 Gift Certificate from Intrepid Thread
